Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

MyClubHaus (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the MCH Scanner iOS application. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app collects, how we use it, and your choices. By using MCH Scanner you agree to these terms.

2. What We Collect

• Room dimensions — width, length, and height (in feet) captured by your iPhone’s LiDAR sensor.
• Optional 3D room model — a .usdz file generated by Apple’s RoomPlan framework if you choose to share it.
• Device session ID — an anonymous identifier used to link a scan result to your quiz session. It is not tied to your Apple ID or any personal identity.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

MCH Scanner does not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise GPS location, photos, contacts, or any other personal identity information. The app does not require account creation.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To pre-fill the golf simulator build quiz at myclubhaus.co, saving you time and reducing measurement errors.
• To improve product recommendations — for example, suggesting simulator screens or enclosures that fit your specific room dimensions.
• Aggregate, anonymized scan data may be used to improve the accuracy of our measurement algorithms.

5. Data Storage & Security

Room dimension data is stored securely via Supabase (PostgreSQL with row-level security). USDZ 3D model files, if shared, are stored via Vercel Blob with restricted access. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your scan data with third parties for advertising or any other commercial purpose. We may share data with service providers (Supabase, Vercel) solely to operate the service, and only under strict confidentiality obligations.

7. Data Retention

Scan data is retained for up to 90 days to allow quiz session completion. After 90 days, dimension records are anonymized and USDZ files are deleted. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us at the address below.

8. Children’s Privacy

MCH Scanner is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, please contact us immediately.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete data associated with your session ID. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@myclubhaus.co.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of MCH Scanner after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
